Arriving at the Garden of 1000 Buddhas in the morning, the first dissolved expectation was the new location of the practice tent. It now resides within the Dharmacakra of the Garden. You can look upon the central statue of Yum Chenmo from the practice tent. More folks have appeared at the Garden, which is a blessing.
Placed at the entrance of the Dharmacakra, a wealth mandala has been constructed, largely by Dorje. The mandala will be filled with semi-precious stones, shells, jewelry, and other items that symbolize an offering to anyone passing on their way into the Garden. Rinpoche and Khenpo Sonam placed objects at each level of the 4-layered mandala as we looked upon the work.
As evening approached, we engaged in puja practice. Mood was simultaneously joyful and devoted – a perfect balance.
With the day coming to an end, I performed one last kora as the softening light brushed over the stupas and statues.
